No Barriers: Accessibility at the Leipziger Messe
We want all visitors to our trade fairs to be able to get to their respective destinations quickly. That is why the Leipziger Messe is designed to be barrier-free and offer short, easy routes. Our accessible entrance system allows plenty of freedom of movement.
All halls are accessible at ground level and there are no thresholds to hinder access. This allows visitors with limited mobility to reach all entrances with ease. In the unlikely event that you come across any obstacles, we would appreciate you drawing this to our attention!
Wheelchairs Available to Borrow
Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the West and East Entrance Halls and in the Congress Center Leipzig for your visit to the trade fair. If you need a wheelchair, please speak to the staff at the cloakroom locations in the respective entrance area. You can also reserve a wheelchair prior to the event. Please use the order form for this. It will be available for you in the corresponding entrance area.
Accessible Parking Spaces
You are also welcome to arrive by car. At the front of the visitor car park accessible parking spaces (PDF, 346 kB) are available.
Arrival by Tram
Tram line 16 takes you straight to the "Messegelände" station. Almost all trams on this route use modern low-floor carriages, making boarding and alighting easier.
